Hey there @Ac18 and welcome to the forums! Tradingview.com is one of my personal favorites that is free and real-time. In fact, it's the primary charting site used here at Stockaholics as well! Simply click on the "Live Charts" tab at the top of the page here and it will take you right to the charts.
Cy, tradingview actually stopped with realtime quotes, that is now a premium feature. Its 15min delayed for normal users.
Freestockcharts.com claims to have real time data but I have not confirmed it personally. https://www.freestockcharts.com/ Downside to this one is that it must be run in Internet Explorer. Will not work in Chrome or Firefox. Only other option I see is to download a platform called TC2000 at http://www.tc2000.com/download I don't know anything about this software so not sure how user friendly or free it is.
Are you sure about that? When I look at TradingView right at market open, the price is already up. I don't have to wait until 15 minutes from market open to be seeing the price. Plus this shows up when I click in the upper right...
Well Ill be damned! I was sure I had a notification saying that it had changed to 15min delayed, maybe Im getting my wires crossed. Thanks for the correction!
I think the difference is that you are accessing direct through trading view. Gil is accessing it through the stockaholics website. You need to be logged in at tradingview to see real time charts. It is showing delayed from stockaholics website.
^^ Looks to be true. I'm seeing the same thing here as well, however it pulls up real-time charts just fine on the website. So, just to let @Ac18 know, you can get real-time quotes for free just fine if you access the site http://www.tradingview.com/ directly rather than accessing it here at Stockaholics. I'm wondering though if this can be fixed. Haven't looked into it yet though...
If you click the Live Charts tab on this site, it takes you to TradingView as well. A lot of us here use it.
I am looking for a site (maybe they do not exist) where one can get real time data for ALL stocks, at least all in a certain classification. like say 200 stocks, and to be able to download in excel. I am not interested in charts. I looked on trading view, but only seem to find charts. does that exist anywhere? thanks
thanks for response. I checked that out, but it looks like it is for historical? was hoping to get real time?
