A film that offers food for thought. In the world of shorting may I suggest watching this film and studying the life of, Issac Le Maire. My opinion and to cover my bases it is solely an opinion and not to be taken as advice. The movie has its benefits. To understand what a short is and to help not take it in the shorts. Read History. Re: The Big Short If you know more than the basics, read the book because the movie is a dumbed down version for the general population that has a minimum of financial literacy. Another worthwhile read is "House of Cards: A Tale of Hubris and Wretched Excess on Wall Street" by William D. Cohan. It's a deep slog into the inner workings of Bear Stearns before their failure. Also, not for those who like simplified movies
