Stockaholics Weekly T/A Charting Challenge Rules & Guidelines:

1.) Participants will take turns each week to post up a chart.

2.) Participants (including the chart picker) will need to then vote on the direction of the chart for the week (starting points from Friday's close), and will have up until 9:30am eastern time on the first trading day of the week. There will be a new poll up for each new week. Members who correctly predict the direction (Up or Down) of the chart by week's end will receive 10 points in the members leaderboard for that week.

3.) Members who also provide some rationale for their direction vote (this can be brief) will be awarded another 2 points in the members leaderboard.

4.) Members who simply "participate" in the challenge will receive 1 point for the week.

Remember...the chart direction poll closes at the opening bell on the first trading day of the new week! So try to get those votes in ASAP!

So, w/o getting into further ado have at it with the T/A on this week's charting challenge!

(Chart to be posted in here sometime after the market closes on Friday.)

my 1st time hearing of this co. (decent recent growth, low debt, BV could be better, analysts like it),
but... *Very low Volume is scary. I would not recommend buying this stock to anyone, even if it does go up some in years/month to come.
I believe the uptrend is pricing in growth, but not Overall Real Value. (fun fact: this stock was < $2 in 2012). Plus too many consecutive up weeks.
    DOWN for the week.

Yeah this is a nano cap ($375 million) that is thin (65k shares/day) and <11 million shares outstanding.

I'll vote up. Currently on the upper Bollinger Band, so I believe this needs to make a strong move up to start the week, or else it'll come down. In particular, it needs to get above 35.60.

Daily chart with a wedge that it is near exiting.
I like that it seems to have spent a big chunk of 2 days above the upper line in the wedge. And also that it has held above the 200 ma.

Hourly chart, tradingview.com is showing a gap ~35.60
    [IMG]
Funny that in the resolution of the hourly chart, it hasn't yet pushed above the upper line of the wedge.

Gonna also vote DOWN as I think that huge wedge will continue winnowing down to a needle nose point until earnings in 2 to 3 weeks.

I'll go with UP. This is a tough one, but the trading range over the past 4 weeks did show a sign of strength last week and appears to be holding; perhaps being absorbed.
