ON Semi moving operations from mainland China to Singapore

    ON Semi, key supplier of electronics for the auto industry, has halted operations in Shanghai. They are transferring operations to their Singapore and Manilla locations.

    This was announced 3 days ago in response to an indefinite Shanghai lockdown,

    I wish more industry could be moved from China to just about anywhere else.

    But We Know, It is All About Costs.
    The Costs are Cheaper in China.

    A Pair of $1400.00 Shoes for Sale in a Boutique in America can be, and some are, Made in China.
    To me, That is Ridiculous.
    But More Money in the Pockets of the Companies.
