Hello all, I am a 29 year old accountant living in Rhode Island. After graduating with my degree in accounting, I have worked in both the public and private side of accounting. With my current job, the stock price of our company is always brought up in conversation. With this, came a lot of exposure to the stock market to myself. So as of late, I have been reading about the stock market and opened up an account on RobinHood. I am hooked. I am truly fascinated with how the stock market works, and with how something as simple as breaking news can drive the price of a stock price up or down instantly, etc. Anyway, I know I have a lot to learn. I have a brokerage account on Schwab that came with a checking account I opened years ago. So I am currently using their site for research as I place small trades on Robinhood to avoid the fees, as I am keeping a small balance to learn the ins and outs of the stock market. I hope to learn as much as I can being a member here, and look forward to chatting with fellow aspiring traders! Thanks, Patrick
Patrick, I understand your doubts very well. Especially, when all spheres of business suffer because of Covid-19. I hope that next year will be much better for us and governments will help people to recover as fast as possible. For sure, you are young and you have to learn a lot yet. I also work in the stock market sphere. Yes, you should be sure in every step. I began to work in this sphere 5 years ago and the same had a lot of fears. You know, I can recommend you great accountant firm who always help me in the accountant questions and issues. This is APM Accountants who are situated in Dublin. Their team consists of high qualified specialists. So, I’m sure they will answer to all your questions. I wish you good luck in what you are doing and I hope I could help you.
