hello guys, Wanted to get reccomendations for books you guys read as beginners/books that got you into stock trading/books that taught you the basics, Been looking around for that with no success, Thanks a lot!
I started with one of the Dummie books, "Stock market for Dummies" or "Trading Stocks for Dummies", something like that. Teaches the very basics, like the different order types (market, limit, stop, stop-limit, etc) and how to use them, and how to select a broker...etc, etc. I found it to be a useful reference for the first year.
This website is an excellent resource for beginners. https://www.forexpeacearmy.com/comm...-trading-education-forex-military-school.158/ Unless you plan on trading the foreign currency exchanges (Forex) you can skip or just skim the 1st several lessons. It introduces all the various fundamental and technical approaches.
I find this book only of medium value as an investor but I agree with Andrew that it is an absolute must read for an investor.
