So...how 'bout that Super Bowl last Sunday, eh? It's been a good week now to really digest that weekend. Wow, I'm still sort of in shock & awe over that one. What a comeback. First SB ever to have gone into OT as well. One for the ages for sure.

Not a Flacons or Patriots fan but loved the Super Bowl this year. The best part was watching my 8 year old(Patriot fan) get to see the greatest comeback in SB history. I hope he remembers the game and that feelling he had after the game for the rest of his life.

Yes, I'm a long time Patriots fan. But, I did fall into a non-believer at the end of the 3rd and start of the 4th quarter. I was holding back from throwing things at the TV. But I did watch it all and when they got to within 8 with time left that's when I knew they were going to pull this thing off. One for the memory bank.

I didn't think the Patriots had a chance. Atlanta had everything going: passing (especially with Julio Jones), running, and defense (the pick 6, and QB pressure). It's amazing how the Patriots engineered the comeback; and I say Patriots because clearly the coaching has a huge part in their prolonged success. If it's not clear, then just remember how great the Patriots 2nd & 3rd string QBs looked this year when Brady was suspended.

So sick of Great Tom Brady...lol but anyway back to the game.

Thinking back on it, the Patriots just started throwing a bunch of short passes, which the Atlanta defense was happy to give them with a huge lead. Atlanta placed the game in the hands of their offense, but the offense didn't come through.

Watched the game as always with my friend, who is a Falcons fan. He was so pissed when Ryan took the sack and got out of FG range (4th-and-33 lol). It's amazing how the Patriots defense just picked it up at the perfect time too. But then Bellichick is a defensive coach.

But that Ryan sack was really the big play. Oh and there were a couple times when the Atlanta defense came oh so close to interceptions that could have stopped the comeback.

The New England Patriots... A team you WISH you could like... But you just can't!

They have arguably the best and brightest mind ever to coach the game of football, who consistently claims he doesn't understand the rules

And a "next man up" mentality with a revolving door roster.. Except for that one guy who gets his own rule named after him when he goes down with an injury

I do like the way they play.. With a high percentage short yard offense and a smash mouth no frills defense (reminiscent of a Bill Walsh lead team in the 80's).... But just like everyone else, I'm tired of seeing them do it!

I try and tell my kid "cheaters never win"... Then he says "what about the Patriots??":D

Still... Much as I hate to admit it, they earned this one...... There's no substitute for experience.. Any other team would have panicked and blown it... Though I did see a few moments of desperation, like the onside kick... But barring that, they kept grinding it out, and showed its the amount of balls in the end zone that matters, not the amount of air in the balls

    It's getting that time again.

I'm pumped up again this season being a 49er fan. Cant wait to see what Shanahan can do this year.

Come on give me 5-6 wins to start the Lynch/Shanahan era of right. :D

As a Bears fan, I'll root for them during the games, but I'll be happy they lost 5 minutes after the game is over. Hoping for a max of 2 wins and the #1 overall pick. If you can't make the playoffs, might as well be bottom of the barrel! Do what the Cubs did.

While I hope the Bills win more than 2 games we might be competing with you for that #1 overall pick.

May the best (or should I say worst) team win (or should I say lose)!

What are you hoping for with the first pick if your team should get it?

    QB's?

We just drafted a QB of the future hopefully. So whoever the BPA is. Not sure yet it's too far away!

Ya, my guess is they'll be trading up if they don't have a top pick. I don't see Tyrod staying past this year unless he lights it up.

Hopefully he's the stud they think he'll be since they stupidly traded up for him.

Who would have expected the Patriots to lose at home to open the season!

Sorry about your Bears @T0rm3nted ... didn't see the highlights but saw the score was pretty close.

Glad to see the Panthers took care of business down there in San Fran.

Looking forward to the home opener next Sunday!
